The Taekwon-Do ITF Cuba Organization under the presidency of Sabum Pedro Enrique Rodríguez, has reached a historic milestone by being officially legalized and recognized by the island’s sports authorities.
This legalization process has been carried out in collaboration with the Cuban Association of Martial Arts (ACAM) and is endorsed by the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation (INDER), marking a significant step in integrating Taekwon-Do ITF into the Cuban sports system.
ACAM, the governing body of martial arts in Cuba, has formalized the inclusion of the Taekwon-Do ITF Cuba Organization within its structure. This recognition allows the organization to operate officially in the country, promoting the practice, teaching, and development of Taekwon-Do ITF under the guidelines and regulations established by ACAM. This step not only validates the work of instructors and practitioners but also opens new opportunities for the expansion and professionalization of this martial art in Cuba.
The National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation (INDER) has granted its official recognition to the Taekwon-Do ITF Cuba Organization, integrating this discipline as part of the national sports system. This will allow its inclusion in national competitions, training programs, and sports events organized by INDER. Additionally, it will facilitate access to resources and institutional support for the development of athletes and coaches.
The legalization and recognition of the Taekwon-Do ITF Cuba Organization reflect the country’s commitment to the development and diversification of sports disciplines. This achievement is the result of the effort and dedication of practitioners, instructors, and leaders who have worked tirelessly to position Taekwon-Do ITF as a valid and enriching option within the Cuban sports landscape.
With this new status, Taekwon-Do ITF in Cuba is expected to continue growing, contributing not only to the physical and mental development of its practitioners but also to the enrichment of the nation’s sporting heritage.
