From 13–17 May 2026, the city of Prague hosted the 29th TAFISA World Congress 2026, one of the leading international gatherings dedicated to Sport for All, physical activity, and community engagement through sport.
Representing the ITF at this important global event was Board Member Sbn Martina Lenhardtova, who was entrusted with serving as the Federation’s official delegate to the Congress.
TAFISA (The Association For International Sport for All) is a worldwide non-governmental organization recognized for promoting inclusive access to sport and physical activity across all ages and communities. Through cooperation with international sports federations, public institutions, and grassroots organizations, TAFISA works to encourage healthier lifestyles, social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and community development through sport.

Held under the theme “Sport for All: Building Bridges for Inclusion, Equity, and Harmony”, the Congress brought together sports leaders, experts, and representatives of organizations from more than 100 countries to exchange ideas and discuss the role of sport in fostering inclusion, equal opportunities, social connection, and international cooperation.
These values closely reflect not only the ITF’s but also Sbn Martina Lenhardtova’s longstanding professional and personal commitment to promoting participation, accessibility, and unity through sport.

The ITF is proud to be represented in these important international discussions that help shape the future of Sport for All worldwide. Through active participation in forums such as the TAFISA World Congress, the ITF continues to strengthen its contribution to the global sports community and its commitment to using Taekwon-Do as a tool for education, inclusion, and positive social development.
Sbn Martina Lenhardtova and the entire ITF congratulate the newly elected TAFISA president Mr. Janez Sodrznik, from Slovenia (seen below together with Sbn Lenhardtova).
