Dear Grandmasters, Masters, Instructors and Country Representatives!
For the second half of 2020 we were focused on organising the 8th World Cup in Koper Slovenia from 5 October to 12 October. As you all know, we had to make the hard decision together with the organizer to cancel this event after considering all the pros and cons. The reasons for the cancellation are well known.
But a possibility was opened to us, because SPORT DATA developed the so-called E – Tournament and made it available to us. In addition, the chair of the IT committee, Master Harry Vones, has already gained experience because he has successfully organised the first tournament of this kind in Germany.
After consultation with Master Vones and the Umpire and Tournament Committee, the Board of Directors has unanimously decided to hold an e – Tournament in October in the categories of individual pattern, team pattern and prearranged sparring. The planned period is 3 October to 23 October and it will be the first e – Tournament in ITF History.
The announcement for it has been posted on the ITF website and judges and coaches meetings have already taken place. All registration formalities are summarised on the SPORT DATA page under the following link and can be found there:
