The ITF hosted on Thursday, June 18, 2026, another highly successful virtual meeting of its Standing Committees, bringing together representatives from almost every committee, with many committees represented by several members. The excellent attendance reflected the strong commitment, passion, and professionalism that continue to characterize the work of the ITF’s volunteer leadership.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for open dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and the presentation of ongoing and future initiatives. Drawing on the results of a committee survey conducted in advance of the meeting, participants engaged in lively, constructive, and respectful discussions about achievements, challenges, and opportunities for further development.
The survey also revealed an exceptionally high level of motivation among committee members. This result reflects not only the strong commitment of the individuals involved but also their shared belief in the future direction of the ITF. At a time when volunteer engagement cannot be taken for granted, such enthusiasm and willingness to contribute represent one of the federation’s greatest strengths.

A central theme throughout the meeting was collaboration. As the ITF continues to grow and evolve, the importance of closer cooperation between committees has never been greater. Through the sharing of expertise, resources, and perspectives, committees can create even greater value for the organization and its members worldwide.
The discussions clearly demonstrated that the ITF benefits from a remarkable group of dedicated leaders and experts who are willing to invest their time, knowledge, and energy in advancing the federation. Their contributions have already led to numerous successful projects and initiatives, and the enthusiasm displayed during the meeting highlighted the significant potential that still lies ahead.
The Executive Committee through the ITF President, GM Paul Weiler, expressed its sincere gratitude to all committee members for their continued commitment and support. Together, the participants set an important course for stronger collaboration, improved communication, and a more integrated approach to achieving the strategic goals of the ITF.
The meeting concluded with a shared sense of purpose and optimism. By working together across committee boundaries and building on the strengths of each group, the ITF is well positioned to continue its development and deliver lasting benefits for its members and the global Taekwon-Do community.
