The ITF Do & Ethics Committee under its chair Master Janel Gauthier will host three Internation Do Courses (IDC) online in 2023. The IDC is a pre-requisite for applying to a promotion to 7th, 8th, and 9th Dan and open to every ITF red and black belt.
The three IDC will be hosted in March, May, and November. The ITF Do & Ethics Committee will host the IDC at different times to accomodate for the needs of participants all over the world. In this understanding, the first IDC on March 4 and 18, 2023 will be specifically scheduled for Asia and Oceania starting at 10pm UTC. The second IDC on May 14 and 28, 2023 will serve the needs of our Spanish speaking members in Central and South America as well as in Europe staring at 2pm UTC. And finally, the third IDC on November 5 and 19, 2023 will be hosted at comfortable times for America and Europe starting at 3pm UTC.
IDCs in March and November will be held in English while the IDC in May will be taught in Spanish and has only a few translations to English.
