We held IIC-JAPAN at Tokyo from June 29th to 30th, 2024.
The last time we held the event was in 2013. It is a great pleasure for us to be able to hold the event in Japan for the first time in 11 years.
We started preparations with GM Marano about a year ago, and during that time we received various advice, and the two-day IIC-JAPAN ended successfully and with great success.
First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Grand Master Marano, Grand Master Lan, and Grand Master Jedut for their cooperation with IIC-JAPAN.
IIC-JAPAN was attended by participants from seven countries other than Japan (Australia, Canada, China, Finland, Nepal, Norway, and Taiwan), and it was an event that contributed greatly to international exchange with about 100 people.
The practice focused on Pattern, and we were taught Sparing, Self-defense, and Step-sparing.
Everyone had a valuable opportunity to be taught by the Grand Master, and asked many questions, often even exceeding the scheduled time.
We would like to report that it was a wonderful time where we were able to share our enthusiasm, fun, and techniques for Taekwon-Do.
We look forward to hosting this event again in Japan in a few years.
Thank you to everyone around the world who was involved in making this event possible.
Thank you so much!!
