On the 18th to the 20th of September 2015 according to the plan of International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) the 104th International Instructor Course was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Grand Master Hector Oscar Marano, Grand Master Kim Ung Lan and Master Paul Weiler conducted the seminar. In the course participated such countries as Russia: Master Lazaros Tsilfidis, Viacheslav Nedelko, Elena Grevtseva, Anton Chigorev, Enver Umerov, Dzhakhangir Saburov, Israel: Leonardo Oros Duek, Mario Cosacow and Sergei Harchenko, Kazakhstan: Amir Askar, Kuprin Roman , Amir Nurdaulet, Zhaisanbay Rustemm, Bayazitov Bakhtiyar, Kyrgyzstan: Nurisa Mambetalieva , Atakhan Mamataliev. From Uzbekistan there were 85 participants on the seminar and in total 100 people participated. On the 16th of September 2015 Grand Master Marano and Master Lazaros Tsilfidis arrived in Tashkent. We organized the trip about the city for them. They liked Tashkent very much. Grand Master Kim Ung Lan, Master Weiler and other participants of the seminar came on the 17th of September 2015.
On the 17th of September 2015 at 17:30 there was organized the planned meeting of Master Weiler, Master Lazaros Tsilfidis and Master Han with the Minister of sport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr.Aliev Murodjon Bokievich. The negotiations were important and informative. The Minister said that the Ministry of sport supports and funds our federation and they will help us in the future too.
Master Tsilfidis said friendly words addressed to the Ministry of sport of Uzbekistan about warm welcome. Master Weiler also was glad to the meeting on the high level and remarked that Federation Taekwon-Do ITF of Uzbekistan worked hard and ITF will help and support the development of Taekwon-Do ITF in Uzbekistan.
The description of IIC:
Day 1.
- Warm up
The warm-up was held by Grand Master Kim Ung Lan. During the warm-up there were shown very interesting and absolutely very effective methods
Patterns
Patterns were held by Grand Master Hector Oscar Marano. Patterns were trained from Chon-ji to Chung-moo. Grand Master Marano explained in detail every movement stopping not only on technical movement but also on the ability fully to relax after concentration on breath and sine wave movement.
- The methodology of step sparring
Master Weiler taught the methodology of step sparring. He explained in and out the methodology of Sambo matsogi (3 steps sparring) and the role of Sambo matsogi in working out techniques and the feeling of distance. He also explained the technique of Sambo matsogi in case of training by partners of different heights.
- Self-defense
Grand Master Kim Ung Lan taught some combinations of self-defense and told the secrets of spiritual constituent of sparring.
Day 2.
- Warm up
Master Weiler held the warm-up and warned us against some exercises which can cause injury.
- Patterns
Patterns were held together by Grand Master Marano and Grand Master Kim Ung Lan. Patterns from Kwang-Gae to Juche were completely worked. Every movement was explained in detail.
- The technique of step sparring
Master Weiler particularly taught the methodology of Ilbo matsogi I-bo matsogi.
- Self-defense
Grand Master Kim Ung Lan taught different methods of releasing from chokes and holds
- Tournament rules
Master Weiler explained the changes in tournament rules in team and individual competitions in patterns, sparring and special techniques.
Day 3
- Patterns
That day Grand Master Marano and Grand Master Kim Ung Lan explained every movement of patterns from Sam-il and above.
- The technology of sparring
Grand Master Kim Ung Lan shown different ways of attack of the opponent with different distance. They also paid attention to the methods of counterattack using hands and legs.
Federation Taekwon-Do ITF of Uzbekistan expresses its thankfulness to Grand Master Hector Oscar Marano, Grand Master Kim Ung Lan, Master Weiler and Master Lazaros Tsilfidis for holding 104th International Instructor Course. We also thank all participants and guests of the seminar. Federation Taekwon-Do ITF of Uzbekistan made all their best efforts to organize IIC on a high level. The seminar aroused great interest of participants who asked a lot of questions after the course. All sportsmen from Uzbekistan were very happy to get theoretical knowledge and practical attainments from Grand Masters and Masters in Tashkent on our seminar.
