The 1st Kathmandu Valley Junior Taekwon-Do Champiosnship has successfully concluded in Kathmandu at the North pole Academy, Tarakeswor on February 15, 2025.
The program was chaired by Dr. Shree Nibhas Madhavan, Principal of North Pole Academy, and inaugurated the program by Mr. Ranjit Thapa, Chief Guest of Nepal Student Leader, Special Guest Mr. Chetan Raj Giri, ITF Taekwon-Do Nepal President, and the National Youth Leader Mr. Bhuwan Bikram Pandey jointly burn the lamp to the opening this Championships.
The 1st Valley Junior Taekwon-Do Championship-2025, program was organized by Mr. Bir Prasad Budhathoki (Jacky) and Mr. Chham Bahadur Pun.
110 participants, thereof 65 boys and 45 girls from the different schools of Kathmandu Valley participated. The Weight Category started from 16- 55 kg ( 8 weight category ) for boys and 16- 50 kg ( 7 weight category ) for girls.
Securing the team Champion of 7 Gold 2 Silver and 8 Bronze medal by the Little Light Montessori based school, likewise 4 Gold Medal 7 Silver Medal and 10 Bronze has been secured the 2nd position of this Championship by the North Pole Academy.
The Championship title of the “best boys fighter” was secured by Mr. Binit Magar from Young Brothers TKD School and the “best girls fighter” was secured by Miss Indu Shah from the North Pole Academy
The medals were awarded by the chief Guest, Special Guest and Guest at the end of the Championship.
