Master Lazaros Tsilfidis was invited to visit China from 20th – 27th /Oct/2019 by Mr. Bolun Owen Dai from ITF Taekwon-Do China Union. The purpose of this visit was to share knowledges, discuss ideas about development, communicate with Chinese members and finding cooperation optunities.
3 cities were visited: Beijing, Xi’An and Haikou. Master Lazaros Tsilfidis conducted 2 seminars and had meeting with over 50 Taekwon-Do black belts and instructors who came from over 20 different regions in China. At least 20 of them are club owners or active instructors. The total number of students they teach are more than 2000. Among them there are also instructors from other federations and AAs. During the trip, we also met with Chinese sport industry leaders from various sport sectors, Master Lazaros Tsilfidis also introduced ITF and ITF Russia to them.
It was a wonderful and very productive tour. We found ITF China and Russia are similar in many ways, there are many good thing ITF China could learn from Russia and there are many areas we could cooperate in the future. So many optunities exist to be further work on. Master Lazaros and Mr. Bolun Dai will be following on the topics they had covered during the tour and continuously working together to development ITF in their region.
