Reminder: Registration/Accommodation/Transfer – Taekwon-Do World Cup 2024

Dear Sir/Madam,

I trust this email finds you well.

Only 14 days left to the deadline of the 9th Taekwon-Do World Cup in Argentina. This event holds paramount significance for both the ITF and its member states, and most of all for their affiliated clubs.
We would like to encourage all Members to participate in this event. We urge you to extend your support to the Organizing Committee by sending the most substantial delegations possible.

This exceptional sporting event in Mar del Plata will bring together the best athletes from Taekwon-Do schools around the globe to compete in the spirit of friendship, respect, and the pursuit of martial arts excellence. The 9th Taekwon-Do World Cup is not only an opportunity to test the competitor’s skills but also a chance to exchange experiences, forge new friendships, and promote the values that Taekwon-Do embodies.  Unforgettable moments and exciting challenges await all participants.

REGISTRATION/PAYMENT REMINDER

With this email we would like to kindly remind you about upcoming deadlines for the registration to the 9th Taekwon-Do World Cup 2024 in Mar Del Plata, Argentina

September 24, 2024 – Deadline for participant registration or changes in Sport Data.
September 27, 2024 – Deadline for payment of all registration fees for competitors, coaches, and teams

Important excerpt from the Official Invitation:

“Registration for competitors, coaches, VIPs, companions, and others will be in Sportdata coordinated by the International Taekwon-do Federation through ITF-Online (data.itftkd.sport).
The registration must be done by each club or organisation and will be open until September 24th, 2024.
Club registration cannot be done directly with Sportdata. Clubs can only access the Sportdata World Cup registration via ITF-Online. Each club should request ITF-Online (data.itftkd.sport) access from their NA.
After the deadline, no registrations or changes will be allowed.
All non-competitors (e.g. supporters, coaches, VIPs) must be registered for the World Cup event to ensure a fully engaged and well-coordinated participation experience for all.
The competition is limited to 3000 competitors.
As soon as the first 2500 competitors are properly registered in the online system for the event 9th ITF Taekwon-Do World Cup 2024, all additional registrations will be allocated on a waiting list for further revision and approval.
The entries on the waiting list are confirmed according to the time stamp of the registration in the waiting list.

TRANSFERS TO MAR DEL PLATA

The Org. Comm. kindly asks you to keep in mind there are still some available seats if club members want to book their transfers.
It is very good if everyone try to avoid big train / bus stations as these are not usually in downtown and an extra transport will be needed, mostly when having this option of door-to-door service.
There are many umpires / clubs have booked one way only; while we might have some available last minute seats, maybe those dont match their desire travel schedule or are not enough for the entire team.
After the deadline, there won’t be more access to the online forms, and all modifications will be done by email ([email protected]). The new requests / changes will need the approval of the Accommodation and
Transfers Department (based mostly on availability).
