A Strong Start to 2025 for Australia
The Allied National Taekwon-Do Association Australia Inc. (ANTAA) successfully commenced 2025 with the ITF formally approving its application for National governing body status in Australia on 20 January 2025. With this endorsement the future of Taekwon-Do in Australia has been firmly cemented under the leadership of Master Adeline Cheong VII Dan.
The new year continued its great start with black belt gradings being conducted by Doug’s Dojang in Rockhampton, Queensland and Platinum Taekwon-Do in Perth, Western Australia; a distance of over 3,500 kms (2,200 miles) apart, highlighting the vast geographical expanse of Taekwon-Do in Australia. The gradings resulted in the promotion of an auspicious nine new I Dans of which eight are female!
On 23 February 25 ANTAA conducted its Annual General Meeting virtually and welcomed the following members to the Committee
