50th Anniversary Celebration of Ulsan Gym in Guatemala with Master Gato – Gato from Puerto Rico
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ulsan Gym, Master Gato – Gato was invited to Guatemala by Master Juan Carlos Peña. On Friday the 20th, Master Gato – Gato led a class at Ulsan Gym, where he shared his experience and knowledge with the local practitioners.
On Saturday the 21st, a Technical Workshop was held with the participation of 32 black belts and 43 gups (color belts). During the workshop, various exercises, forms, and the application of movements from the forms in self-defense were conducted. Both children and adults showed great interest and enjoyed every topic taught.
The event brought together several clubs from the Guatemalan Fraternity, the Guatemalan Association, as well as participants from the departments of San Marcos, Coatepeque, and Cobán. This was an excellent opportunity to strengthen the bonds between Taekwon-Do practitioners in Guatemala and to continue fostering the growth of our martial art in Central America.
