Special Workshop at the ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships

Online platforms have made communication easier than ever—but they have also given rise to disrespectful and even harmful behavior. As Taekwon-Do practitioners, we are called to live by its tenets everywhere, including in digital spaces. Courtesy, one of our core values, is especially vital online.

To help our community reflect on these challenges, the ITF has invited Master Janel Gauthier, Chair of the ITF Do and Ethics Committee, to lead a special workshop during the World Championships in Poreč. Together, we will explore how to promote respect and courtesy in online communication and discuss possible ITF initiatives to guide members in this area.

🗓 When: Thursday, 9 October 2025
🕔 Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (CEST)
📍 Where: Venue details to be announced
🎟 Who can attend: All participants and attendees of the Championships
💰 Cost: Free, no registration required

Master Gauthier, a clinical psychologist and Professor Emeritus at Laval University (Canada), brings his expertise in ethics and behavior to this important topic.

Join us in building a more respectful ITF community—online and beyond!
