The Brazilian Federation of Taekwon-Do ITF has the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the 8th Central and South American Taekwon-Do ITF Championship, which will be held from August 10 to 13, 2022 at the Costa Cavalcante Gymnasium in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil.

The event will be organized by the Federação Brasileira de Taekwon-Do ITF in collaboration with the Secretaria de Esporte e Lazer de Foz de Iguaçú and supervised by the Federación Centro y Sul Americana de Taekwon-Do ITF (FCST).

Open to ITF schools participants will be able to compete: Gup in Pattern and individual Sparring, Dan in Patterns, Sparring, individual and team.

What information can you find today that makes this championship different from any previous championship you have experienced?

1) INVITATION.
GM Raúl Sánchez together with the formed team invite the region and the world to participate in the greatest competition of the Central and South American continents and welcomes them to Foz de Iguazú, Brazil.

2) RULES.
Thanks to the hard work of the ITF UMPIRE committee directed by Master Abelardo Benzaquén, the competition regulations of this Central and South American Championship will be applied for the first time according to the new World Cup rules recently approved by the ITF, and The FCST, in agreement with the organizer of the 8th ITF Taekwon-Do Center and South America, GM Raúl Sánchez, have worked so that this Center and South America is the first championship in the region to adopt the ITF regulations, with some adaptations, Most of them include age or grade categories that are not included in the World Cup regulations.

3) SCHEDULE
The website contains the schedule of the championship, from the start and end dates of registration, weigh-in and competition days. etc.

4) HOTEL PROPOSAL

6) AGE CATEGORY
By putting your date of birth on the site you can calculate the age at which you must register to compete, since the age that is taken is the one that the competitor had on December 31 of the previous year (according to the new ITF rules).
