2nd ITF WORLD RECORD EVENT -TWIMYO NOPI AP CHA BUSIGI

Taking Place during the
ITF WORLD CUP 2026 – 28th OF SEPTEMBER – 3rd OF OCTOBER 2026 – IN BENIDORM, SPAIN

During the 1st ITF World Record Event in the “Twimyo Nopi Ap Cha Busigi” discipline at the 2025 World Championships, remarkable records were set:

Male Record holder: Andrei Ionut Chiriac (Romania) set the limit to 291cm.

Female Record holder is Michelle Wendykier (Poland) with a height of 244 cm.

We would like to continue with 2nd ITF World Record Event in the “Twimyo Nopi Ap Cha Busigi” discipline during the ITF Taekwon-Do World Cup 2026.

The World Record Event is independent from ther World Cup and it is not a category of the World Cup.

The registration will take place in Sportdata via ITF online.

Procedure:
The World Record Event will have two parts.
Part 1 – Qualification:
The qualification is accomplished with one valid attempt for a minimum height (240 cm for women and 285 cm for men). An attempt is valid if the board engages at least at an angle of 45° or more.The qualification will be scheduled after the corresponding individual special technique event of the World Cup.
Each participant has a maximum of two attempts to qualify with a valid attempt.

Part 2 – World Record Attempt:
Each qualified participant decides for themselves at what height they wish to start, provided that the minimum height is 1 cm higher than the current world record.
Participants may continue as long as they have not made two failed attempts.
After the first unsuccessful attempt, the participant can decide whether to try the same height again, increase it, or decrease it.
