On Saturday, 23 August 2025, the ITF Women’s Committee proudly hosted the Super Class 2025. The online seminar brought together about 160 registered participants from all over the world, creating a powerful atmosphere of learning, inspiration, and unity.
The two-hour session on Zoom featured three exciting presentations led by outstanding instructors:
- Master Lisa Pitman – Power Breaking
Master Pitman shared background stories on her power breaking endeveours – not only in competition but also in achieving several Guniess World Records. Participants were guided through the principles of strength, technique, and determination, discovering how to break barriers both physical and mental. - Sbn Silvia Farigu & Master Christian Oriolani – Pre-arranged Sparring
Their dynamic session started with the basic rules for pre-arranged sparring at a competition and thereafter demonstrated the precision, rhythm, and teamwork that make pre-arranged sparring such a unique and exciting part of Taekwon-Do. In a few excercises, which were designed for everyone to join and learn, the participants had the chance to train simultaneously from all around the world. - Sbn Soledad Serrano – Martial Meditation
A moment of stillness and reflection showed how mindfulness can enhance focus, balance, and well-being in Taekwon-Do and everyday life. Sbn Serrano guided the audience in a practical session such that everyone could experience first hand the positive effect of mindful focussing.
The Women Super Class once again proved to be more than just a seminar. With participants training together online across continents, the event highlighted the spirit of community and equality that defines the ITF. Participants of all ages joined and some countries in the ITF world used the easy accessibility tot he event to active engage their community.
The ITF Women’s Committee extends its heartfelt gratitude to:
- The instructors for their professionalism, passion, and generosity.
- The ITF, represented by Master Annick van Driessche (Vice President), for continuing to support and promote these important initiatives.
- The participants for their energy, commitment, and spirit.
The Women Super Class has grown into an international tradition, offering inspiration and knowledge to practitioners everywhere. The 2025 event continues this proud legacy — and we look forward to welcoming even more participants in future editions.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we are ITF.
