At the opening of the 8th Extraordinary General Assembly on March 29, 2026, ITF President GM Paul Weiler announced two leadership changes within the ITF Board of Directors.
The ITF and Master Leonardo Oros Duek have reached a mutual agreement regarding the conclusion of his tenure as Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors, effective March 25, 2026.
This transition has been carried out in a constructive, respectful and forward-looking manner, reflecting the shared intention of both parties to ensure continuity and stability within the ITF. It constitutes an institutional and consensual transition.
The ITF would like to thank Master Oros Duek for his meticulous work and great enthusiasm over the past few years in many areas, including Trademark Rights and Sponsorship Contracts. Master Oros Duek was instrumental in the design and development of the inclusion programme and chaired the Inclusion Committee for four years. It is thanks to his dedication that the ITF has been hosting the Adapted World Cup since 2024. This project has also brought the ITF’s motto, “TKD FOR ALL”, to life.
The ITF wishes him every success in his personal, professional, and sporting future.

Master Philip Lear, currently Member of the Board of Directors, will assume the position of ITF Vice President effective March 30, 2026. Master Lear was previously, among other, President of ITF England and advanced institutional growth in many areas in the last years.
He fills the vacant position of the ITF Vice President according to the Statutes article 34.14.
The ITF looks forward to continuing its work in support of the global development of Taekwon-Do.
