In late December 2025, ITF activities in India also included two Senior Master seminars supported by local organisers Sbn. Barappa P. and Mr Vijay Kumar, whose professionalism and commitment ensured the smooth running of the events.

Bangalore Seminar – Karnataka
Bangalore was the first venue, hosting 164 participants from multiple states. Training was structured to accommodate both junior and senior practitioners, with dedicated sessions for colour belts and black belts. Mr Sarvanan of Chennai, along with his students, also attended and contributed positively to the seminar.
Technical instruction focused on improving kicking mechanics, particularly eliminating leg drop, strengthening upper thigh engagement for effective chambering, and applying traditional pattern methodology to enhance overall performance. Competition sparring and self-defence were also introduced. While attendance was affected by election periods and academic commitments, clear technical improvement was observed among several participants. A grading was conducted following the seminar.

Kerala Seminar
The second seminar was held in Kerala, with 130 participants in attendance. The visit received national media coverage, highlighting the ITF’s ongoing efforts to support the development of Taekwon-Do in India. Local representatives and extended families attended to formally welcome the delegation.

Development and Future Plans
To improve continuity between visits, the introduction of bi-monthly online training sessions was proposed to support consistent technical development, particularly for geographically isolated practitioners. Future seminars are planned for summer and November 2026, with expansion into northern India under consideration, including Assam and Himachal Pradesh.
The ITF remains committed to strengthening technical standards, governance, and long-term development across India.
