The National Taekwon-Do Association of Puerto Rico offers a Development Program for Instructors, designed to enhance the technical level of instructors and facilitate the teaching of Taekwon-Do.
The Instructor Development Program includes:
- Review of the technical requirements for promotions starting from 4th Dan.
- Monthly classes for instructors and assistants. In addition to technical aspects, topics such as teaching methods, curriculum development, and examinations are covered.
- The opportunity to become a member of the Examination Panel for black belt promotions.
- Annual evaluation for instructors. In addition to being an excellent opportunity to keep our instructors active, this evaluation is also a requirement for promotion exams and the renewal of the ITF Teaching License.
- Individual technical and administrative advising.
Due to the success achieved in Puerto Rico, the program has been adopted by the ITF Taekwon-Do Academy of Cuba and will take effect next year.
