The wait is over — competition week is here!
From October 7-11, 2025, the world’s Taekwon-Do community gathers in Poreč, Croatia, for the ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships 2025.
Over the next four days, 57 countries and more than 1,450 athletes will take to the mats inside the Sports Hall Žatika, showcasing skill, discipline, and the indomitable spirit of ITF Taekwon-Do.
A Celebration of Excellence and Unity
This week will bring together competitors from every continent — from defending world champions to rising stars experiencing the global stage for the first time. They’ll compete across Patterns, Sparring, Special Techniques, Power Breaking, and Adapted Taekwon-Do, representing the full spectrum of our art and sport. Right before the competition starting on Wednesday October 8, 2025, the most important annual event in the ITF organisation is scheduled: the ITF General Assembly 2025. It will bring together national representatives and ITF leadership to discuss key developments and the current status of the organisation and shape the strategic direction of the organization for the years ahead
Beyond the competition, Poreč will also host a series of special events reflecting the ITF’s values of respect, inclusivity, and development:

- 💬 Workshop: Courtesy in Social Media – promoting respect in the digital age
- 🔥 World Record Event – a spectacular event during the Gala
