Every April 2, World Awareness Day is commemorated.
The United Nations Organization has announced that this year’s celebration will address inclusive quality education in the context of the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4). In the words of the United Nations “education enables upward socioeconomic mobility and is a key to escaping poverty.”
Once again they emphasize how fundamental it is to promote inclusive quality education for people on the autism spectrum, so that they can develop their potential. An inclusive education, they add, is the key to the transformative promise of the Sustainable Development Goals, to leave no one behind.
In the ITF, we believe in the same inclusive power of quality education. Our instructors teach mental values and physical techniques to all members equally. Thus, we encourage all our members to participate in the virtual celebration event organized by the United Nation.
If you are interested in participating in the virtual event, please follow the United Nations Website (https://www.un.org/es/observances/autism-day) and enter the registration form. The event is named “Inclusive Quality Education for All” and will take place on next April 8, 2022, from 14 to 15:15 am (UTC). It will include a panel discussion and presentations by experts in the field of education.
