The current conjuncture generated by the Covid-19 pandemic has forced to postpone and suspend many events, meetings and work meetings that were planned since last year.
However the work did not stop. Of course, other modalities had to be adopted and, for this, technology through new digital tools has allowed the ITF to continue with all those activities that allow it.
In this way, a meeting was held that was originally scheduled for last April, during what would have been a historic event to be held in Korea, the home country of the creator of Taekwon-Do.
Thus, coordinating 4 time zones, the ITF Executive Board formed by President GM Paul Weiler, Secretary General M Tadeusz Loboda and Treasurer Sabum Leonardo Oros Duek, met with the Committee for Child Development chaired by GM Donato Nardizzi , M Ernesto Santaniello and Sabum Fabián Izquierdo.
On the occasion, a detailed report was made on the tasks carried out, which are in progress and a brief exposition was made of the projects that had to be reconsidered both for the short and medium term, where there was self-criticism and a deep analysis of the situation.
Guidelines were quickly established for a new difussion of the Official Program for Children’s Development and novel work strategies.
In a concise and executive style, the meeting closed with the commitment of teamwork that encompasses the Board of Directors, other Committees and collaborators.
