On Thursday, September 16th, 2021 Master Gaby Abousleiman, the President of ITF Lebanon were visiting the ITF Headquarters in Lublin, Poland.
In the conversation with Master Tadeusz Loboda, Secretary General of International Taekwon-Do Federation and with Master Jerzy Jedut, President of Polish Taekwon-Do Association and Secretary General of All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation, Master Abousleiman presented the current difficult political and economic situation in Lebanon. He mentioned the complicated circumstances faced by Lebanon inhabitants, such as the lack of electricity or gasoline, huge inflation, etc.
The aim of the visit was the to clarify organizational matters. Master Abousleiman also provided information on the trouble faced by the ITF Lebanon and mentioned the immediate plans and intentions. He also mentioned his contribution to the development of Taekwon-Do at home and abroad as well as his activity towards the ITF.
Due to the above mentioned and the inability to make bank transfers from Lebanon, Master Abousleiman took advantage of the visit and paid all fees on behalf of the Federation by cash and received plaques and black belt certificates.
In 2021 Master Abousleiman is celebrating the 50th anniversary of practicing Taekwon-Do. He started his trip with our martial art in 1971. In 1975 received his 1st Degree. Because after his promotion to 8th degree, Master Abousleiman received only the traditional black belt certificate, Master Loboda granted him also with a special certificate that ITF issues to the graduates of the Master Degrees.
He also get familiar with the work of the office. The visit was conducted in a friendly atmosphere.
