The 168th International Instructor Course was held in Tianjin, China on the 15th and 17th September 2023. This very special course signified new beginnings for the ITF in Asia, and members from China (Mainland, Hong Kong, Qinghai highland) along with Malaysia and Indonesia gathered to share in their passion.
Technical Committee members GM Paul McPhail and Master Jerzy Jedut taught the 15 hours of the course with the assistance of GM Michael Daher. The ITF President GM Weiler also joined the group on Saturday morning.
The content of the course included all 24 patterns, exercises and activities to assist instructors, sparring drills, step sparring, self-defence, stretching, kicking drills and more. The group thoroughly enjoyed all the course and are already planning the next event.
Our three masters were treated to three days of enthusiastic members, who did not faulter in their thirst for knowledge. They were thrilled with the exceptional respect, etiquette and hospitality shown to the guests at all times.
The organization of the course was a result of an incredible team work between Mr Yip Wan Mun and Mr Wong King Way. These two gentlemen are the strength of the International United Taekwon-Do Association in China and leading the way in Asia. Thank you gentlemen for all your time, energy and personal sacrifice.
Congratulations to the members who were promoted to 4th , 5th and 6th degree black belt at the grading following the IIC.
Special congratulations to our newly promoted Masters: Wang Xu, Alvin Wong King Way, Yu Xue Min and Cheung Chi Keung.
