The ITF invites you to participate in a presentation of the ITF Concussion Policy that will be introduced at the VIII. ITF World Cup in Koper, Slovenia. This is an opportunity to learn about the policy and the procedures that are being implemented to protect the competitors of the ITF. It’s essential that all coaches, competitors, and umpires fully understand the importance of the policy and how it protects our members. That everyone is able to work together to ensure a safe competition environment, reducing the risk of long term brain injury.
The policy will be presented by Mr Kirk Lee who is the co-creator of the ITF Concussion Policy. He will explain in detail the reasons why the ITF has adopted this policy and give examples of situations that have arisen in the past that underline its importance. The course will last no more than 90 minutes and is recommended for all who are attending the ITF World Cup in Koper Slovenia. You will be able to ask questions concerning the policy during the presentation. The presentation is free of charge and held with Zoom.
