On April 18, Minsk hosted the Open Cup of the Kaskad club. You can endlessly enumerate record achievements in the international arena, but do not forget that such a level can be achieved only thanks to the rallied young movement of coaches, athletes and parents, who always go to new goals and heights and are guided by the principles of Taekwon-Do!
For the first time in the history of the competition, the club tournament gathered 670 participants at 6 doyangs, who had the opportunity to compete for the most beautiful medals with an individual design.
Everything happened exactly on schedule and without delay. The highly qualified staff of judges, consisting of 58 people, was trained on the eve at a two-day technical and judicial seminars, under the guidance of Petros Mikaelyan, an international ITF Taekwon-Do instructor, a member of the ITF judging committee. This, of course, had a positive effect on the quality of refereeing and the organization of the competition in general.
The last competitions before the season of sports and training camps will be remembered by all the tense struggle and worthy competition, the well-coordinated and efficient work of the organizers and judges, the friendly atmosphere prevailing among the coaches, memorable medals and a colorful photo zone for prize-winners and winners.
We hope that the participants were able not only to enjoy the victories, but also to endure the necessary experience for themselves, to see what needs to be worked on, what to improve.
Summing up all of the above, we would like to express my gratitude to the organizers represented by the head of the club Kaskad Oleg Pronevich, the entire referee staff, organizational technical staff and, of course, all coaches, athletes and fans.
And again we look forward to meeting at competitions, seminars and certifications in the new season. We will strive in the future for international competitions of the highest level.
Taekwon to everyone!
