Dear ITF Community
On this occasion, I want to mention two highly relevant events to all of us.
First, we are about to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Taekwon-Do, more precisely on April 11th.
For the occasion, I scheduled an open class in Buenos Aires, as a tribute to the Masters Han Chang Kim and Nam Sung Choi, introducers and pioneers of Taekwon-Do in Argentina. It will also be a way to generate awareness among all practitioners about our birth and a means to strengthen ties with other organizations within the country.
Obviously, we will also pay homage to our Founder Gen. Choi Hong Hi.
It will be a way to implement our principles of respect to Seniors and Elders and teach the disciples who follow us. And we will take the opportunity to donate the proceeds of incomes to charity (perhaps this example helps you to organize something in your country).
And secondly, a few weeks ago we reached the 100th IIC in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Needless to say I am extremely proud to have been part of this wonderful experience.
I cannot forget the challenge of taking the lead of the IIC No. 1, which was organized by Master Paul Weiler in Germany.
The team conformed by GM Marano, GM Bos and myself was feeling such a pressure by the responsibility assumed, that we felt we were going to an exam! But we overcame it just doing the best we knew how to do: to teach Taekwon-Do.
And looking forward, in this 2015 will be born the ICC, which is another way to enthuse and teach our art from different angles, and also we will have another opportunity to meet in the next World Championship in Jesolo, Italy, which I am convinced will be a resounding success.
Until then and continue to enjoy.
