SUMMARY:International Do Course (EN) - March 2026
DESCRIPTION:The International Do Course (IDC) is a central element of the ITF syllabus. It not only teaches the Do including insights into ethics and the ITF values but the IDC is also a requirement for all candidates for gradings to 4th degree and above. \n\n\n\nThe first day of the course (Day 1) will be on March 1\, 2026\, from 2pm to 9pm (UTC) and the second day (Day 2) will be on March 15\, 2026\, from 2pm to 9pm (UTC). \n\n\n\nDeadline for registration: February 22\, 2026\, 11pm (UTC) \n\n\n\nThe course will be delivered in English without any translation to Spanish or any other language. In Taekwon-Do\, where athletes must balance high-intensity competition with strict weight categories\, managing hydration correctly can significantly impact both performance and health. \n\n\n\nIn this special ITF Webinar session “Taekwon-Do for Everyone”\, the ITF Medical and Anti-Doping Committee organized an external speaker: Sean Fitzgerald\, Certified Nutritionist and Personal Trainer from Adaptive Health\, will explore the critical role hydration plays in training\, competition performance\, recovery\, and safe weight management for Taekwondo athletes. \n\n\n\nDrawing on his extensive background in Taekwon-Do and his current experience as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor\, Sean brings both practical athlete insight and professional expertise in combat sports nutrition.
