DESCRIPTION:Dear Taekwon-Do Family\, \n\n\n\nFor us\, Taekwon-Do is a way of life\, and we are all part of a big Taekwon-Do family. \n\n\n\nAt the last World Championship in September 2023\, we met in Tampere\, Finland. Now\, our journey takes us to warmer places\, to Croatia\, specifically to Poreč. Each registration must be processed through the club participating in the World Cup\, provided they have access to this platform\, or through each country’s National or Allied Association. \n\n\n\nRegistration Deadline:Registrations will be open until September 12\, 2025 at 21:59 UTC \n\n\n\nRegistration Fee:USD 100\, and no fines will be applied for accommodation outside the official hotels \n\n\n\nA competition exclusively for athletes with disabilities\, whether physical\, motor\, sensory\, or intellectual\, will be held. The evaluation of each competitor’s level of disability will be carried out by the Inclusion Committee. All participants must undergo an evaluation committee review\, presenting their medical fitness certificate for the competition\, clearly indicating their disability status and degree. Additionally\, the Unique Disability Certificate (UDC) will be required. The final admission and classification of each competitor will be determined by Sbn Anabel Vicario\, and this decision will be final and irrevocable.The UDC must be sent via email to lorosduek@itftkd.org \, indicating the corresponding registration number. \n\n\n\nThis edition will feature Individual Patterns\, covering categories from 4th Gup to 4th Dan. \n\n\n\nThe age divisions will be: \n\n\n\n\nPre-Junior (born in 2010 – 2012)\n\n\n\nJunior (born in 2007 – 2009)\n\n\n\nAdult (born in 1989 – 2006)\n\n\n\nSenior (born in 1988 or before)\n\n\n\n\nAfter the registration\, the categories are split into different belt categories and the different degrees of disability. As Taekwon-Do practitioners\, we are called to live by its tenets everywhere\, including in digital spaces. Courtesy\, one of our core values\, is especially vital online. \n\n\n\nTo help our community reflect on these challenges\, the ITF has invited Master Janel Gauthier\, Chair of the ITF Do and Ethics Committee\, to lead a special workshop during the World Championships in Poreč. DESCRIPTION:The ITF invites all interested athletes to participate in the World Record Event 2025 at the Gala of the World Championships 2025 on October 10 in Porec\, Croatia. \n\n\n\nThis event is the first one on the global stage. It has only one category: twimyo nopi ap cha busigi – flying high front kick. \n\n\n\nWhile the Special Technique category during the World Championships includes the same kick but with a fixed height (e.g.\, 260cm for adults male)\, the World Record event tries to find the athlete with a valid technique at the largest height.
