DESCRIPTION:Dear ITF Members\, Grand Masters\, Masters\, Instructors and Umpires\, \n\n\n\nOn behalf of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF)\, the ITF Umpire Committee\, and the ITF Inclusion Committee\, we are pleased to extend a warm invitation to the First International Qualifying Course for Umpires and Referees of Adapted Taekwon-Do – Online\, scheduled for June 1st and 2nd\, 2024. \n\n\n\nThe course will be led by Grand Master Abelardo Benzaquén\, Chair of the ITF Umpire Committee\, along with Sabum Nim Anabel Vicario\, Chair of the ITF Inclusion Committee. \n\n\n\nThe ITF regularly organizes International Umpires Courses worldwide\, especially before major championships such as the World Cups\, World Championships\, and continental competitions\, to ensure that all officials are up to date with rules\, regulations\, and the latest technical aspects. \n\n\n\nThis inaugural International Course for Adapted Taekwon-Do Referees coincides with the 2024 Center and South American Championship in Paraguay later this month\, and four months prior to the ITF World Cup 2024\, scheduled for October in Mar del Plata\, Argentina. This course serves as a Qualifying Course for referees seeking certification as Adapted Umpire A (4th Dan and above) and Adapted Umpires (2nd Dan and above). SUMMARY:TAEKWON-DO FOR THE RIGHTS
DESCRIPTION:The TAEKWON-DO FOR THE RIGHTS project with № 101133552 aims to encourage young people who actively practice sports to increase civic participation in their communities by establishing interaction with law enforcement agencies and thereby improving social inclusion. \n\n\n\nThe project will bring together young Taekwon-Do players aged 12-17 years and adults to promote together sports activities in their communities and active involvement in the local life of adults and young people. \n\n\n\nThe project aims not only to popularize Taekwon-Do practices for a healthy and active lifestyle\, but also to apply the values of Taekwon-Do as a tool for building trust between young and old\, endurance and resilience. The project will create a new concept for a sporting event that encourages athletes to engage in civic engagement as a precondition for participating in the event. It will be held in October 2024 in Sofia\, and during its conduct\, numerous opportunities will be provided for the participants to build connectivity and intercultural understanding. \n\n\n\nTAEKWON-DO FOR THE RIGHTS is a complementary project to two previous projects of the Central Police Taekwon-Do Club – Taekwon-Do for the mind – get a black belt in values and BeValue Reload. \n\n\n\nPartners of the CENTRAL POLICE TAEKWON-DO CLUB on the project are: \n\n\n\n\nTKD AHAC SENTJUR\, SLOVENIA\n\n\n\nSC ARISTOTELIS\, GREECE\n\n\n\nROMANIAN TAEKWON-DO ITF FEDERATION\n\n\n\nINTERNATIONAL TOPFLIGHT BRUSSELS ASBL\n\n\n\nTKD SPIRIT ASSOCIATION\, HUNGARY\n\n\n\nTAEKWON-DO GE-BAEK\, SLOVAKIA\n\n\n\nCIN-GU\, LATVIA\n\n\n\nTAEKWON-DO CLUB SOKO\, BACKA TOPOLA\, SERBIA\n\n\n\nMIEJSKI KLUB SPORTOWY LEWART AGS LUBARTOW\, POLAND\n\n\n\n\nEach participating team will find a role model from the National Police or other law enforcement agencies\, a famous athlete\, female athlete/police officer\, outstanding young people with achievements in Tae Kwon-Do who will talk about their training regime\, how this regime targets healthy lifestyle\, how sports contribute to professional orientation\, values in sports\, etc. The major events of the Project including the Taekwon-Do sports competition with all Taekwon-Do competition disciplines according to ITF Competition Rules will be held in ASICS Arena in Sofia\, Bulgaria\, on 17-21 October 2024.
