{"id":6629,"date":"2016-09-19T21:03:11","date_gmt":"2016-09-19T19:03:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.taekwondoitf.org\/?p=6629"},"modified":"2020-05-15T03:40:15","modified_gmt":"2020-05-15T01:40:15","slug":"espanol-iic-112-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itftkd.sport\/es\/espanol-iic-112-report\/","title":{"rendered":"IIC 112 Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The IIC \u00a0112 was organized by the National Association of Taekwon-Do of Puerto Rico and the\u00a0National Team of Puerto Rico, it was conducted by Grand Master H\u00e9ctor Marano, Director of\u00a0Technical\u00a0Committee\u00a0and supported by the Grand Master Ung Kim Lan and Master Pierre Laquerre.<\/p>\n<p>The site chosen for the occasion was the Verdanza Hotel, Isla Verde, which had the appropriate means for the realization of an event of these characteristics.<\/p>\n<p>It was attended by 131 participants from 9 countries, namely: Anguilla, Argentina, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, USA, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Marteen \u00a0and Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting the presence of 11 Masters, five of them 7<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>degrees and six 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0degrees, as well as 26 senior instructors.<\/p>\n<p><span data-term=\"goog_1071178226\">Friday\u2019s<\/span> work day, after the opening ceremony, began with warm-up exercises and fighting techniques by the Grand Master Lan.<\/p>\n<p>Then Grand Master Marano was responsible for working with forms of Chon-Ji to Ge- Baek.<\/p>\n<p>Grand Master Lan dedicated almost 1 hour explaining the secrets to proper confrontation drills in 1, 2 and 3 steps emphasizing the importance of timing and how to work to achieve the correct form.<\/p>\n<p>While 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees conducted an overview of forms with the Master Laquerre, Grand Master Marano devoted himself exclusively to address the questions, doubts and opened a space for comments and opinions to masters and senior instructors present, a gesture that was much appreciated by the representatives of the countries of the region.<\/p>\n<p><span data-term=\"goog_1071178227\">On Saturday<\/span> night\u00a0a Caribbean Leaders meeting and \u00a0banquet in honor of the Grand Masters was held. The banquet was enlivened by the Conjunto Sabros\u00f3n, who were responsible for making\u00a0the public dance. Master Ruben Su\u00e1rez and Esther Ort\u00edz gave a demonstration on how Salsa is danced in Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n<p><span data-term=\"goog_1071178228\">On Sunday<\/span> morning the Grand Master Lan worked with forms for 4th degrees and then the Grand Master Marano closed with forms for 5th and 6th degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Was an amazing experience , all participants enjoyed the week end and back home
