Del 21 al 23 de junio de 2026, justo antes del inicio del Campeonato Sudamericano 2026, la hermosa ciudad de Lima, Per\u00fa, fue sede del 54\u00ba Curso Internacional de \u00c1rbitros (IUC), que reuni\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 50 participantes provenientes de toda Latinoam\u00e9rica (Per\u00fa, Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Paraguay y Uruguay), adem\u00e1s de Canad\u00e1 e incluso dos participantes de Ruman\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al igual que el Campeonato Sudamericano 2026, el IUC54 fue organizado por el Maestro Tulio Flores Aguilar. GM Abelardo Benzaquen, presidente del Comit\u00e9 de \u00c1rbitros de la ITF, imparti\u00f3 el curso con la experiencia y profesionalismo que lo caracterizan, tras haber dirigido el IUC53 en Canad\u00e1<\/a> apenas dos semanas antes y el IUC52 en Guatemala<\/a> cuatro semanas antes de ese evento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El curso tambi\u00e9n sirvi\u00f3 como preparaci\u00f3n te\u00f3rica y pr\u00e1ctica intensiva para todos los \u00e1rbitros que formaron parte del equipo que dirigi\u00f3 el Campeonato Sudamericano 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El evento tambi\u00e9n cont\u00f3 con la presencia de invitados especiales: el GM Paul Weiler, Presidente de la ITF, y Sbn Fernando Arrua, Presidente de la Federaci\u00f3n Sudamericana de Taekwon-Do, quien estuvo acompa\u00f1ado por miembros del comit\u00e9 ejecutivo de dicha federaci\u00f3n: el Maestro Walter Pe\u00f1a (Paraguay), el Maestro Tulio Flores (Per\u00fa) y el Maestro Eduardo Oviedo (Chile), cuya asistencia subray\u00f3 a\u00fan m\u00e1s la importancia de este evento educativo internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El IUC54 brind\u00f3 una excelente oportunidad para la formaci\u00f3n, el debate y el desarrollo profesional, donde los asistentes revisaron las actualizaciones de las reglas, los procedimientos de competici\u00f3n, los est\u00e1ndares de arbitraje y las mejores pr\u00e1cticas que se implementar\u00e1n en futuros eventos internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde el Comit\u00e9 de \u00c1rbitros de la ITF, esperamos que el conocimiento adquirido este fin de semana contribuya al continuo crecimiento y la excelencia del arbitraje de Taekwon-Do de la ITF en toda Sudam\u00e9rica y m\u00e1s all\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
